Food Ministry
The food ministry is a tool God has given us to preach the gospel. We meet at North Village Baptist Church at 10:00 AM. There is time for visiting if you come early, the doors open at about 8:30-9:00. This ministry is unique because we let people "shop" instead of just giving out prepackaged food boxes. We too were on the receiving end once and remember not wanting or liking a lot of the stuff in the boxes we received.
At 10:00 (or whenever the food arrives) there is a short sermon (usually 5-10 minutes) and then the food line starts. We may limit the amout of any given item due to what we got that day, we do this to be as fair as possible. We do allow people to go around as many times as they want, this allows fairness and at the same time lets people get as much as they may need (as long as the supply holds out).
